| The Nova Southeastern University Implant Maxicourse will be held at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It consists of ten educational Modules running Fri, Sat, Sun from 8AM-5PM. The program involves lectures, demonstration, and hands-on participation in dental implant surgery and implant prosthodontics. Graduates will receive a certificate from Nova Southeastern University. There will be live surgery demonstration and hands on for participants. Hands-on will include training in the following procedures: Soft tissue surgery
Participants will train on fresh frozen cadavers at the Anatomical Research Center where specimens with no chemical preservatives are used. This center is used for knee, hip, spine and facial plastic surgery training. We are planning for two full days of intensive participation Total cost for Maxicourse will be $15,000 for the entire program. Recent grads and faculty from Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine will receive a discount. The course will be part of the Continuing Education Dept of Nova Southeastern U and the course is approved by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. The Maxicourse satisfies the educational requirement for Associate Fellowship in AAID. Last year my students at the Rutgers University Dental Implant Maxicourse had a 100% pass rate on the Associate Fellowship examination for the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
